Proferro obtains Deutsche Bahn certificate

Proferro obtained the Deutsche Bahn certificate in the course of 2017, which has enabled it to produce components for the German national railway operator.

"Proferro underwent a rigorous quality process in order to obtain the certificate. Our entire process - from purchasing through production to logistics - was meticulously screened, with the focus on quality. Thanks to the efforts and expertise of our quality and foundry department's team, this process was rounded off successfully. Proferro's particular strengths emerged as being process stability in the foundry and the quality of the cast iron used," explained Patrick Windels (Sales Manager).

The Deutsche Bahn certificate – which is valid for three years – will allow Proferro to produce cast iron products for the German railway operator.
