Seeking a driven entrepreneur and sales pioneer with a technical affinity

• Your main goal will be to identify, visit, and build relationships with prospects and customers who purchase weaving machines. • Through your technical knowledge, you will convince prospects and existing customers to opt for Picanol weaving machines, focusing on both short-term and long-term opportunities. • In our business, you will deal with contracts, where the time between first contact and conclusion can take up to several months or even years. In this period, you will be the point of contact between all parties, internally and externally. • Guided by the Sales Team Manager and with the support of the back-office team, you will draw up proposals and follow up on them closely in order to close deals. • You will also proactively coach and support our agents to increase our market share. • You will be expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. The remaining 50% of the time will involve you working from Ieper where you will follow up on your customer accounts and cooperate closely with internal stakeholders.


• You should have a business-oriented bachelor’s or master’s degree and ideally relevant experience in a commercial position • In addition, you need to have a technical mindset and a strong interest in technical products • As an enthusiastic entrepreneur, you should be driven by the challenge to develop (or further develop) a geographical customer portfolio. You should enjoy spending a large proportion of your time on prospecting and market development • You should be able to speak fluent English and knowledge of any other languages (preferably Russian) would be considered a plus. • You must be able to draw on broad experience in the sales of investment goods• Frequent business travel is something that should appeal to you • You need to be a good communicator, able to work autonomously, and you must have a structured approach.
