PLM Manager

Job description

You manage the PLM-department (6 persons) and  the product structure of our existing and future product platforms (airjet and rapier weaving machines, Ieper and Suzhou).  You help determine and improve the design and release process in the R&D-department.  You work together with the Sales Department and the CPQ-tool on one side, and the Sourcing&Assembly Department and the ERP-tool on the other side.  You manage the product release process and the quarterly release information, including product specifications, transfercost setting up to the spare parts catalog.

You consciously monitor cost and product complexity (variant management) and help define the optimum product variance with maximum market satisfaction.

You work together with the R&D-management and Portfoliomanagers to challenge and optimize the design and release process and with IT to optimize the use, configuration and implementation of the proper tools.

You manage and support the team of Weave-Up-specialists in offering retrofit and upgrade solutions

Profile

You have a degree in electromechanical/electronic/automation/ICT/production engineering.
You have PLM experience in mechanical engineering
